The moment I saw Fort Worth Mayor Betsy Price elegantly sweep her Aggie Spirit Snob wrap over her shoulder in front of thousands of Aggie Alumni I knew we had to have them in our StyleAlum store.
Spirit Snob is a designer spirit apparel company focusing on stylish, multipurpose collegiate wraps. The wraps are super soft and the perfect size to be worn so many ways—they can be tied as a vest or halter top or draped as a shoulder wrap, scarf, head wrap, or even a sarong for on top of a swimsuit!
The Otomi-inspired designs are created by hand by local Fort Worth artist Allison Castillo. Allison Castillo comes from a long line of artists and grew up in Fort Worth, TX. She began her career as a graphic designer in the corporate world, transitioning to digital and mixed media as her family grew. She returned to painting again seriously a few years ago and has since become a popular commissioned artist among Fort Worth art lovers. Her works can be found in private collections across the US and Mexico. With an artist’s eye, she draws inspiration from personal life, cultural experiences, travel, and they every day to bring a fresh, fun spirit to her line of accessories.

Currently Spirit Snob features designs for —UT Longhorns, Texas A&M Aggies, TCU Horned Frogs, Baylor Bears and Texas Tech Red Raiders and are in the process of adding several other universities to the line in the coming months. Available in both a large size and a smaller size that is great as a neck or bag scarf. They also come in a matching drawstring pouch that is great for gift giving.
